A little while back acquired this Primus two burner suitcase stove which happily is in full working order. The gas cylinders are aged and can no longer be refilled due to regulations. It appears replacements are not avaliable. However can still run this stove off a external gas cylinder.

So firstly what is the type of connection I have and where can an adaptor for a gas cylinder with 3/8 thread be purchased.

    Writing from Australia.

Also the rubber O ring is perished and there should be another seal where the gas cylinder meets the attachment. It is missing. Where can a seal kit be purchased.

Thanks for any information as would like to get this stove ready for use.

Forgot to mention, was able to buy a disposable type cylinder (the last one the shop had) and thereby was able to test that the stove is working.

I had my cylinders pressure tested and re stamped at a local fire service shop that work on Co2 bottles which after 10 years need a pressure test every 5 years,
It is hard to find somewhere that still does the old gas bottles as every one now does throw away or exchange bottles.

Thanks Tony, believe there is a place here that does that sort of work so will look them up. It would be nice to use these old original cylinders and would save having to lug a external cylinder around.
