I just bought this Valor stove No.55. It was in very poor condition. I fixed it and now she is a happy stove again and in working order.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can obtain a new pump gasket/washer for a Valor 55

    Great stove @mta

Do you have a more detailed photo of the burner?

I am working on a 55 right now that came with a roarer, so I am curious to see if yours is the same.

@GibsonsRavinePark2 the No.55 was supplied with a silent burner from the factory, the No.51 was the roarer model. The burner on this stove and yours are almost certain to be in-service replacements.

    Thanks @Blackdog

I have seen in the gallery examples that the 51 has a T&C style roarer with a screw to access the jet.

The one I am working on has a more common looking roarer burner with the Valor name on it. So far I can't find another example of this burner on this forum. I think @mta 's stove probably has the T&C style burner.

I am pretty sure this 51C has the same burner as mine, but the pictures aren't close up enough to confirm the Valor name.

Here is a picture of mine

There's always a chance if it came from a local dealer who imported Valor products that the burner was fitted at the time of sale when it was new if a customer wanted a roarer model but only No.55s were in stock.

Use your discretion, @GibsonsRavinePark2 . It is, after all, the better part of valour (Valor).
I do wonder how well plays on words travel overseas? Hope they don't get too sea sick! I shall apologise in advance;- before @Blackdog tells me off (again).

Don't let me of all people dull your sparkle @Dean. I think tariffs might be involved in some cases now, it might get pricey. I'm not sure if English humour is able to cross the Atlantic without having its plans altered by unwanted interaction with an iceberg. I imagine a lot of my comments are met with confused expressions by the few who bother to read them.
