@z1ulike Yes...I can get a really low simmer...something like an 8R would simmer. I like how it runs without the needle so much I actually dont plan to put it back. I just keep it in a baggie. Now to look for a spare jet haha

Actually, the oil can part of the stove body is mostly iron, and the burner head is brass, but there are also some with the oil can entirely made of brass. I have one myself (I bought it from a French lady who was selling her father's belongings—her father was a former soldier, and this stove was clearly part of his military equipment). The premium version has a red casing, a funnel, and a wrench.
@wang2b Do you have a Vesta two burner stove? You should enter your brass tanked Vesta in this month's "Stove of the Month" contest. It would get my vote for sure. Ben
