Hi everyone I just got a cute little Baby Enders stove and I need a replacement leather pump cup (14.5mm) and it is missing that flame spreader thingy. Any suggestions for parts source? Also I found that car polish/cleaner works really well on the painted surfaces.
The pump cup if same size as a 96 stove, can be bought from our sponsor Thefettlebox. The flame plate you are SOL unless you can fabricate something. The Baby is so small of a stove. Duane
Shouldn't be much of a hassle to make a flame plate, our local Ace has sheet brass. If you would like a picture of mine just let me know.
Not sure how the leather pump cup is attached to the pump cup holder. But if it's the same as in a Enders 9061 army stove you need to organise something that can act as a permanent or detachable pump cup holder.
Thanks, it is smaller then my other stoves so a pic would be nice thanks. I tried using a freeze plug with a hose clamp with all the slots in it but didn't work. I also had to fix the valve that would not shut off. I tried cleaning/resurfacing the seat with a drill bit no change. I finally drilled it out and machined up seat insert and it worked great. But I made a bad mistake: I used solder to fix it into place as well as soldered the assembly back onto the supply pipe. As you can guess, after it heated up it blew off the pipe and was a very exciting few moments. So now I will attempt to properly braze it together. But how can I remove the old solder? Also had a leaky check valve at the bottom of the pump. Not being able to find a suitable rubber insert I replaced its holder with a ball bearing and it works great.
