Just back from a canoe trip on the Restigouche River in New Brunswick, during which my Svea 106 was used to brew coffee in the morning and make a nice batch of custard one night. (Since we were a large group of 10 geezers--we have been canoeing every spring for about 40 years--most cooking was done over a fire.) Thanks to new Viton seals at the reserve and filler caps, the stove no longer leaks fuel or air there. But a new issue has cropped up: The last morning, a little flame--about what you'd get from from a butane lighter--appeared at the joint just below the spirit cup. It was easy enough to blow it out, but it would reappear now and then. I would guess that I can disassemble the joint with a couple of wrenches and replace a gasket of some kind, but I'm hoping that someone here can provide a little more detail on how to go about it.
