I’ve acquired a rather tatty Phoebus 625 and the sticker is mostly nonexistent. How do I tell if I have a kero or naphtha one?
@gnome The 625 runs on gasoline (the 625P runs on kerosene/paraffin) Jets: Marked ‘G’ = gasoline Marked ‘E’ = kerosene/paraffin Pharael.
Hi, I’m new to this site. From the little I know about these stoves yours looks like an early model with the shorter burner assembly. I just purchased one which arrived yesterday, and am currently cleaning it up and working out what I do next. The fuel tank is a little bit sad looking…. But I’ve seen some which are a lot worse. My example seems to have an extended pump handle but I’m still trying to figure out why the stroke length is so short
Welcome to CCS The jet is a E so it will work on Kerosene, to eliminate a lot of question right at the beginnings the inside should be cleaned but because you don't know the stove give you another reason to do it. Have fun !
