    Hello everyone,
I recently found this Italian stove bearing the inscription "PROVIDUS No. 1," and that's where my search began.

I found this document on the forum, listing the manufacturer as F.lli Montaldo:

The company was founded in a small shop in Turin in 1928 and registered the PROVIDUS trademark on March 27, 1929.

In the 1930s, it became a leader in the stove industry, and in the 1940s, it exported to 57 countries worldwide.
In 1950, they registered the Providus trademark with a new logo.

In 1955, the company changed its name to "Providus S.p.A."
In 2007, Providus became part of the Campweld Group.
In 2009, 81 years after its foundation the new PRO Center plant was built with around 10.000 sqm.of production area and 35.000 sqm. of land.
The production line is now fully automated with the packaging line and the products are shipped all around the world from the new Logistics Center.

    Nice story.
