A regulated Primus came up on the local online auction site. So I brought it.
It will remain a patinated shelf queen as it has some obvious damage from underburn or a leaking regulator to the burner.

Congratulations on scoring a uncommon Primus 14!!!! That makes four in the Reference Gallery. Both of my Primus 14s came from Australia. Maybe they were only exported to the southern hemisphere .

That's done some service, if the pump tube end cap wear is anything to go by!

@gnome A great old stove that has tons of history, as this stove has had a hard working life by the amount of wear to the pump tube cap and the solder work on the riser tube.
i agree with your obvious points regarding the burner damage caused by under burn or a leaky regulator, another possibility it may have just worn through due to the amount of work this stove has had in its life

    Great find!
The pump tube cap, burner damage and tapering of the pot rests tells of a great previous life too…
    Thanks!
