Hi everyone, I bought this stove marked "SOLUS," thinking it was a Coleman, but I haven't found anything like it on the forum. Can anyone help me identify it? Thanks.

No idea what it is but with the external non-return valve it's an oldie.

    New to me.

It’s interesting that it has the external NRV.

    Cheers

    Congrats @Bebo
I feel like it is safe to say you have scored a very rare stove.
    very very interesting.
edit I'd suggest it be moved to Mystery Stove category. [otherhand, it IS a SOLUS ]
    You now have it in-hand.
    >>>The pics that you share here is all "I" have to go on. <<<
I too dont see anything like it on site nor can i recall anything.
Can you share with us what town and country it came from when you bought it?

The pump tube-to-tank connection (and "maybe" riser-to-tank connection), the quality, may be in question?, YET otherwise strikes me as very well made. Like many brassies this "could" remain useable long after we're gone.
Speculation: Northern Italy? ... -or- Could brief post-WW1 born date be reason for no country of origin marking?

A stout unique shape & type of vent-filler cap we have seen somewhat similar (Juwel?) but cant say i recall a close match to that one.

Hi @OMC, Thanks for the information. I purchased this stove in the province of Parma (northern Italy). The fuel cap does indeed resemble the one on my "Juwel 31" (I'll talk about it soon), but it's not identical. Don't hesitate to ask if you need more information or photos. Regards
