Coleman 501, in the Stove Reference Gallery HERE, pictured with a visual clue that the model was recalled by Coleman as unsafe. My example evidently escaped destruction.

Briefly fired up on butane to demonstrate the flame pattern, but not a ‘user’ stove.

Ik like to nominate my Peak 1 Apex II model 445A700 (mod)
    IMG_20260707_181353.jpg

Which Is bought for cheap, because the original fuel line was ruptured. I replaced it with a piece of heat resistant fuel line and breaded it with shielding from a scrap piece of CAN-bus wire.
I also had to repair the pump, because it developed a crack. Which I repaired with shoe sole repair glue.

Here it is on shrimp cooking duty:

Sorry no srg link. Didn't know if a scrappy stove like this is eligible for the srg, since it isn't a reference model anymore due to my mod. Maybe more a Frankenstove?

    Thanks for reading

Landers, Frary, & Clark Universal No. 0, making my evening tea atop the pellet stove, as it does nearly every night.

More photos in the SRG here. Stove is stamped 1908.

Edit: Interesting that my flag is showing "Canada". Perhaps I need to check the news.

North American stoves-- a big category, second only I suppose to "European stoves"!

    Here's a Coleman 'Guide Series Powerhouse 414"

Why bother with a new Coleman suitcase in such a contest? Because they're still making 'em!

The classics survive in production (at least four years ago--haven't seen a new one on the shelves lately...)
