Not sure on the vintage of this one, but its an earlier model, embossed lid and the green metallic hammerite paint, not the later blue.
Cost me $200NZD which is not too bad a price, rough ones can go for this.

    Nice. I have only found a 22B.
    Wouldn't mind a 22.

    Most certainly not!
This one will be going in a display cabinet when Im ready.
I never thought it would find one this age. Ive got another later one that had been used a couple of times but had a ton of rust.
Im just trying to figure out what to do with this one.
Its got the odd rust spot here and there and not sure what i should do to prevent it getting worse and/or touch them up.

Im pretty sure this is a MK1 too, so would this put this stove into 1950s? It has the spirit bottle with the little plastic nozzle that folds out.

Anyone else got a similar example? Ive not seen what the box looks like, but will add this to the reference gallery.
It appears that the 22 is either uncommon or highly sought after overseas, here in New Zealand, they appear a rather common stove and have been reading some discussion about why the reasons on here.
Im pretty sure this is a MK1, but not sure on the production date.

I have all three fuel versions in the early grate (rail) style. All needed fresh paint.
