Hello esteemed seniors, Recently I found this one from a web flea market. Frankly I never saw this and tried to find what it is via Internet and gpt, but totally failed. I don't know this is Bernzomatic or not, the seller just listed It is. Any information is very helpful. Thank you!
@Yun124 No help with identifying. Rather cleaver form follows function design that packs up compactly. Looks like it has the common, at least common in US 1 pound propane bottle fuel adapter. For a propane stove I am rather liking your find. MSR International looking with no priming.
@Yun124 Congrats. very nice. +1 w/you "...never seen..." [find nothing on web]. +1 w/Daryl it is very impressive design. With utmost respect for Duane and he may be right (read-on) but nothing about it for me, looks modified or cheap (eg zoom-in on burner, wow). Maybe we will identify that burner in the future. Found in S Korea. Maybe a vintage Asian-made burner of higher quality? I presume the valve is stamped Bernzomatic . My initial thought was it is a rare Bernzomatic-made item. the stove portion is clever design and very well made w/exacting precision (i'm open to that being true). BUT couple things do give me definite pause... to-date it may be no one has seen anything like it (Bernzomatic) and the (straight thru /straight-up) valve. Bernzomatic makes a right-angle valve, if they made this stove I feel strongly they would have used their right angle valve. SO maybe it is a home-made bitsa frankie but if so, WOW very well done In any case it is VERY clever, VERY nice. There are several early Bernzomatic camp stoves, camp lanterns, camp heaters and combinations found on the web (many w/right-angle valves lol) but NOTHING at all like this one. No compact designs or any hint of similarity to this one that i could find. PS this could maybe be posted in Mystery Stoves?
The propane adapter and valve look like Bernzomatic parts. Perhaps someone has fitted what appears to be a butane burner of a different brand.
