    Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a silent cap for my Polaris. If anyone has a BernieDawg silent cap for sale and can ship it to Romania at a reasonable price, I’d be interested.

The QuietStove cap would cost me over $150 delivered to Romania, which is a bit too much for me (Im a 25 years old med student, limited in how much I can spend haha)

Has anyone tried the Korean UFO Silent Cap sold on eBay? It claims to be compatible with the Polaris, but it looks quite small, so I’m wondering how well it actually fits and performs.

My experience is with BD’s ‘PolarDawg’, the silent cap made for the Optimus Polaris.

iMaterialise ceased production of all BD silent caps in March 2025.

The cost of the PolarDawg when it was available to purchase new, was approximately between €80 to €95 incl. tax and shipping (depending on location).

    Pharael.
