Lit my 123 (not R) tonight, just to remind myself how much I like 123's. With the feet turned outward my camping kettle just fits on, in fact the fit is so tight there's no chance of the kettle falling off. With the feet facing in my espresso maker also fits neatly. I love that Then I sparked up the Primus 45 that Hobo sold me. I have a soft spot for silent burners and this one is definitely getting nicer with burning. Once warmed up you can stroke the pump and get it burning very hot indeed. One reason for liking silent burners is that the first three-legger that I sparked up was the Parasene silent that I picked up during a job clearing out a garage. It hadn't been used for 30 years, but a little cleaning got it going like a good 'un (after I'd worked out how to put the burner caps on). That first stove brought me here looking for information. You know the rest I'm drinking the coffee made on the 45, it's laced with Spanish brandy and I'll be in bed asleep very soon indeed. Nos da GC
