    Hey all,
Does anyone know per chance what the thread size / diameter is of the threaded connection on the Nova where the fuel line joins the throttle body (at the place where the little inline filter resides)? I'm kicking around some ideas about something and need to know that detail. I'm sure it's metric and it's a very fine thread. Unfortunately, I don't own one of those little tools used to determine thread size and pitch. I'm hoping someone knows off the top of their head.
    As Always,
    Thanks!

    M8 x 0.75.

I have just made an adapter to connect the Hiker burner to it.

You are the man! Thank you! You have made my day \:D/ ....now I just have to find an M8X.75 die...maybe I'll just send it to my friendly machinist.

    Actually nothing ;)

What I'm trying to do is mate the fuel hose / canister valve assembly from a Primus MFS Omni-Fuel to a Hank Roberts Mini stove...the thread on the Nova fuel line just happens to be the same that is on the fuel line on the primus...I just figured that people might be more familiar with the Nova setup than the Primus (and I was right :) )

I found a piece of round brass stock about 8mm in diameter and 16mm long with a hole running throught the middle of it lengthwise that is just big enough around for the nipple on the Hank Roberts fuel receiver to pass through...I'll just solder it on like you did and then thread the end of the brass stock to take the end of the Primus fuel line hence the need for an M8X.75 die...That is a really fine thread on that thing!

    That's what I'm up to...

Primus sent me the valve and fuel hose gratis...great people!

Hi Does anyone know the thread of the nova quick coupling? I would like to attach a fuel line in the same manner Payer has on this pump. Not sure if I will find a fitting to do this job or not, any ideas? Also any tips on how to find the fuel line in the below photo (in NZ) would be great.

Found the answer, there is a standard fitting for this at my local gas shop.

Hi Ron I will up date this when my memory works!

Next problem I have is the coupling. It seems a quick coupling at the end of the fuel line is the way to go unless I can find a hand screwed attachment like on the real kap stove. You can't braise the quick coupling to bass fuel line (with out pulling the coupling apart). I have googled as much as I can and can't find a coupling where the female part is not threaded, ie I would like a female with an end that is made for fuel lines. Any ideas?

My preference is for a connection that can be screwed in by hand rather than a quick coulping, mainly for cost reasons, I have made most of the cap stove for the total cost of 5 dollars so far.

p.s. will post some pics soon (ish)
