hi all, i recently picked up a 111 roarer that burns kerosene. after doing the obvious inspections(dunk test) i noticed it would not hold pressue & was leaking through the jet orfice. nocitable by the bubbles escaping. also, the spindle appeared to be bent when opening and closing the regulator handle. (the teeth were really chewed up when i removed it) i called A&H to order a rebuild kit, when it arrived, i checked the contents to find that the jet i received was marked with a "W". i'm assuming this is part #2510 white gas. i read in another post that the kerosene jet was #2509 and marked with "K". is the jet i purchased useless on this stove? should i try it and see what happens? should i place it aside as a replacment for the 111B? please let me know if you have any suggestions. thanks again, Lou
Optimus uses a terrible "M on the jet, I just got one for a multi Fuel 199 and the "M" has the sloped side of a W - M - - W -
Hi Lou! I have also noticed the sloppy ?M? on the Optimus 2509 jet that Bajabum and Outlaw describes (even if the absolute majority of my 2509 are un-marked). You would probably find a stamped ?G? on the gasoline jet 2510, if marked. As for the 2508 alcohol jet I have found them un-marked or with a sloppy ?A? (hand engraved?). Stefan
morning all, thanks for the advice. i''ll be using the "m" jet i purchased to finish repairing my 111. hope to post some pics next week when it's finished. have a great day, Lou
