Wow. This is my first post here for agggges. Anyway. After trying to sell my old 71, i realised that i dont think i could. Its such a cool little stove, and even tho i got much bigger problems with rusting cars, life in general, etc etc. I just cant bring myself to part with that one. That got me thinking. Its a strange type of 71. I used to know some info on it but forgot. Its the one with the smaller tank, and the pin-though-tank 'safety' valve. It came in a tin which was originally painted kind of green/brown/camo type colour. Pictures can be seen in my post in the for sale section (but dont worry...im not posting this to try to raise publicity...as its either sold or no longer for sale anyway). So...can anyone tell me anythign about this little stove? I cant find any dating marks on it, but as far as i know that with the small tank and the pin safety valve, it must be pretty old. Also, the clolour of the tin makes me think it may be militery or something? Is there any way to find out how old it is? Thanks.
Hello, Adi! Good to see you check in. So, how old are you now and what are you doing? Any night fishing? 8)
Hey guys. Thanks for the info. Erm...im...19. Not really doing anythign too interasting. Still heavily involved in the music scene. May be going to uni next year, may be moving somewhere, maybe both. Have no idea. The world is big and time is plentiful (for now). Turns out that im pretty useful when it comes to audio engineering, so im thinking of developing that further. Also, i got an old mini. That takes up 90% of my time. When it works, its amazing. Cruises at 100 quiet easily and wipes the floor with most other minis. But when it dont work its the most annoying machine ever to fix.
