    Hello everyone
Does anyone know where i can purchase a sheet of nitrile rubber as my NRV valve on my Enders 9061 just gave up the ghost yesterday.
Never had a valve leak before while the stove was running  It got a little scary.

    Take care

    Ask this guy

If the 3mm is too thick he may have some thinner. I've bought from him & I'm sure I got my nitrile from him

    Yes - 1.5mm thick.

Having said that, I do use his 3mm sheet for NRV 'pips' - it's slightly too thick but it makes no difference. The thinner sheet is ideal for other seals in various locations. I think I've also had 2.0mm thickness from him...

I've bought from Mark on several occasions - well recommended... :D

McMaster-Carr might be a good place to start...

Hi, the secret is a really sharp, good quality punch, which cuts the nitrile sheet as it goes, rather than fully compressing it first. I find that if you use a cheap hole punch you tend to get plugs which have a narrow waist.
    This link shows you a professional punch set;

    Punching washers

If you wanted to experiment you could try finding a short length of thin-walled tubing with a bore of about 3mm diameter, Sharpen the cutting face, by grinding, to make a trepanning tool. If you rotate the tool while applying pressure you should be able to cut 3mm diameter plugs from the nitrile sheet.

    Hope this helps,
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

    Look to www.pelam.de
You can take the parts of the "Petromax". On this way i repaired all my Enders and this are about 30 in my collection. Look to "Artikel-Nr. #83 Pumpenventileinsatz(Petromax) about 0,59?.

    Hope i could help

Just read about it, never tried myself, but another option is 3mm nitrile o-rings (the inner/outer diameter of the ring itself is irrelevant, it's the diameter of the rubber ring metarial that's important). Cut a small length - 2mm or so - from the "rubber string" and that's it. The challenge of course is to make a clean cut so the rubber plug seals well against the seat, but on the other hand you don't need a punch.

Im *supposed* to have both 1.5 and 3 mm Nitrile on the way from him. He received payment two weeks ago, and yet I STILL havent got the goods. Pathetic really, when I consider that all my HK/US orders get here in only a couple of days.....

That is a jolly good idea. I've just been googling for some suppliers and these guys do it in loads of different sizes.

    Link to bearing boys site.

I've no connection to the supplier and haven't ordered from them, they just looked to offer nice range of sizes.

    Simon.
