The stove shown below was sold at one of local auction site in Turkey. Its brand is Sievert. I noticed that one of its burner (rear) is little compared to other ones. I forwarded this question to seller but he told me that everything is original. The stove also doesn't have a pan support. But I suspect what kind of a pan support would be suitable for this stove while one of the burner is small. I saw some multi burner stoves at eBay but all of them have jointed spirit cups under the burners. This is because one should light all the burners at the same time. But this Sievert stove, each burner coud be light seperately as there are valves under spirit cups. If one you have a similar stove, would appreciate if you post a picture.
Very rare i should think, is this stove. i do hope you have added it to your collection? if you find the proper legs i'd like to see it burning. I am thinking it was used as a heater in a doctors office or hospital to sterilize things. very lovely stove to look at. lance
[hello sefaudi i have seen a stove like this with a smaller burner what the reason for it i cant say.as i have seen one some where before like it there is a good chance it could be original but one way or another a verry nice find
Please look at the stove I posted above once again. I am about to buy that stove but am still in doubt what kind of pan support would be convenient for that. If I buy this stove, I will light it as for me a stove is a stove if it burns. So I need your kind guidance. Otherwise I will not buy the stove.
I have one of this 3 burner stoves but it isent any legs and pan supportt and have never been so i cant help you there. What i can see the flame spreaders and the key are missing. It shoud be one smaller burner and the difference with the stove you see on E-bay i think this stove the burners are adjustible Anders
Hello Sefaudi, That is a fantastic looking stove; I love the fact that the burners are different sizes and individually controllable. If you buy it and need pot supports, I'll be happy to make them for you. Best... Gary
I'm going to make a wild guess, and say that this is used as mentioned for sterilization or other industrial uses, and the small burner is used once the large pot is boiling to keep it boiling (This would apply to a molten lead pot and the like as well). The larger burners are to get it to temperature quicker.
Dear All, Many thanks for your comments. And Dear Gary thank you for your generous offer. But it seems I will not buy this stove as I haven't received satisfactory info about that. Maybe this stove is a bit stange for our CCS brothers.....if so ..... quite interesting...
Good Morning, Dear Sefa, If that stove is still for sale, I would suggest that you do buy it, if it is offered at a reasonable price. It is different, and very interesting, and I think it would be well worth owning, if you can, indeed, buy it. Best of luck, my Friend, and please let us know how it turns out for you! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
Hi! Yes, that configuration with two large burners and one normal ?cross burner? is really odd, but seems to be the norm on these Sievert heaters. I have seen it several times, and my own one looks the same. It has never been lit but is fitted with alcohol restrictor tubes on all the burners. It has handles but no pot stand fittings. Stefan
