Matukat: That was a little spooky, finding the pieces of the stove in two different places. The two burner Coleman propane stoves are nice for car camping. With the little brass after market connection, you can refill the 1 lb. bottles from a 20 lb. tank for about $1 per pound, or with a longer hose, you can run the stove off the bigger tank. Paul

I have several partial Coleman bottles from the chemical recycling place. One seems almost full, one seemed almost empty(it's the one I tested the stove with). They say on the bottle not to refill them and warn that you might blow up, become sterile, end up in Guantanomo or some such horrible fate awaits you if you dare to refill this bottle. Guess that's not quite true, eh?..... Still not a fan of propane, but in a pinch, I'll use it. I would rather take my primative old liquid fuel Coleman suitcase and a can of liquid fuel. It's like the "Coleman" battery powered "lantern" I found today (in the trash, not kidding..) It looks like a full size Coleman lantern and has two six watt florescent bulbs and takes a bunch of batteries....That's not a "Coleman Lantern"!!!!!!!! Best, Randy the lucky finder of non-brass goodies............... Here is the "lantern" made by Coleman....(they ought to be ashamed.... ) I found thrown away yesterday. No twelve volt cord for the cig lighter or battery adaptor for "D" cells, but without putting batteries in it, I bet it works.... Went back and picked up the 425F for Lance today. For some reason it rang up "half off" So it came to a whopping $2.70 usd......with no tank, I figure that's about right...
Well, my luck has, (fingers crossed) turned for the better! I have a job opportunity and if all goes well, a job! WAAAAAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!! $35.00 per service call, we'll see how it works out, but it's better than what I have now..!!!!! Best, Randy the lucky finder of non-brass goodies.
