After being here at CCS for a tad and reading a bunch,....it's obvious the Euro-stoves dominate the classics. What are the stoves considered to be the American and/or Canadian classics? I'll take the obvious one: 1. Coleman Solus 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? 5. ? 6. ? Etc.

I think you must add the Cole 502 to that list as well as the Canadian Coleman 505b one of the meanest little packstoves I've ever seen ( this thing rocks)

Para Ordnance made in Canada. although not exactly a stove, how about a can full of buffalo chips? was a source of fuel for thousands of prairie settlers... thats pre-classic stove apparatus. "Optimus Prime" is the brainchild of an American cartoonist! although not a stove, "Transformers" were a popular toy when I was a young lad: Wonder where the name "Optimus Prime" originated?
