Howdy Folks, my long awaited #4 arrived today but unfortunately one of the pot support legs was broken off and missing. The photos on the sale clearly showed it there so the damage was done in shipping and the part is now missing. Looks like it found its way through the same hole in the box where the damage was done to break it. Are these legs available? And what about the ring that goes around the roarer burner? The tank has been soldered at the filler cap. But otherwise looks like it could be a servicable stove for home or car camping. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do with this? Is is salvageable? I would post pics but I dropped and broke my camera so no longer have anything to post them with. Ian....
Broken in post .. I hate it when that happens . I stand to be corrected .. but , isn't the No.4 a silent burner ?? . If yours has a roarer burner .. then , im guessing a flame ring from a 00/210 size stove is what you're looking for . Far easier to find than the exclusive silent caps . Nick

Beautiful fettle Johan, unfortunately I don't have any old stoves with which to rob parts from for the missing leg. The pump seems to work. But I can use a new pump leather that sefa provided. Only thing it needs other than the leg is a new burner ring as the one on it is burnt out. This No#4 has a roarer burner on it. The soldering is a mess and in places I swear is a 1/4 inch thick! YUCK! That can be re worked as you have shown. I need parts I guess. Thanks to the postal services for that. Is there anything that can be done with dents? There is an area just inside the shoulder of the tank top and convex central portion that is about 1 1/2 inches across but the shoulder does not appear to be creased. The dent is in that flat section between those two areas. Ian....
