When I first got this stove I played around with the small screw in part of the filler cap pressure valve without realising this may be critical to its functioning. Is there any setting needed, or is it safe however far the thing is screwed in??? The stove works perfectly at the moment, but I'd dearly like to avoid blowing myself up if at all possible! thanks for help
I think the only way to be sure it is safe is to use some sort of test bench that measures the point at which the valve opens. There may be members here that have the necessary equipment. It may be easier to buy a new cap.
But oops its not the jig that stopping me!! Its that 5 sided hex screw Has to be spot on to do anything in mine. Anyone found a source for a decent tempered nicely fitting one yet??? Barra
