I know this usualy comes up in ref to 8Rs and or 111Xs, but.... Mine is a wee chipped on the back/bottom edge, the one that it always slams down on when readying to open. and I noticed that the colour was similar, but a lil lighter than U.S.M.C. O.D. green. any one have a finger on that particular source and or paint?
Go to your model store and match up from the small pots of paint used for models. If a larger area need painting use a spray can.
You have not posted a picture of the stove to judge the colour from, match it with this colour chart. http://tamiyausa.com/articles/feature.php?article-id=72

There's a time and place for everything, i guess. These colors come ready in spray-cans - in Germany, at least. I would really suggest semigloss to you.
