Went tag saling over the weekend, found a mint conditon Coleman 413G stove for fifteen bucks, used twice said the lady, second time would not run, husband said he filled it up with fuel, pumped it up, lit it and nothing but sooty flame came out, said Coleman's weren't reliable, POS he said.
Grouchy old man would not stop bad mouthing Coleman products, he threw away a 200A lantern, said the mantle broke after using it a couple times, now this stove up ended and refused to lite.

Took her home, opened up the filler cap and drained out a tank full of #2 home heating oil (diesel), cleaned the generator, filled her up with fresh Coleman fuel and she lit right off with nice blue flames :D

I now have one mint condition 413G that will be used extensively on future camping trips :D :D :D

It's nice to know there are still bafoons out there waiting for someone like me to come along and take thier POS's off there hands, as I walked away with my new acquisition the husband was probably thinking """"SUCKER""""", funny,I was thinking the same about him :D

You can see one in the flesh, as it were, in a couple of days, Trevor.

The shock of recognizing the "Sucker!" phenomenon could be enhanced by posting a few pictures of the 413 for those of us suffering from the lack of imagination!

Hey VW- I don't know if you remember, but my 413g came out of the trash. Not pristine, has a dent or two, but completely functional. Thrown away............
With a tank full of ALCOHOL...............and it wouldn't run on diesel/ heating oil either??!!!
