    Hi Folks,

My Brother in Law is making me some stove boxes...

He saw the two little tins that my two Monitors are in, and said he would make some wood boxes for my Svea 106, Optimus 00 and Optimus 45 stoves.

So far he made this nice little box for my Double Oh...(please pardon the computer table mess)

This box goes in my Motorcycle Panniers, Sooooo,
Little wooden swivel, turns to lock pot supports in to mounting blocks
    DoubleOHBox007.jpg

Thusly..... Also, note mounting block for burner location

Fixed bracket inside lid locks fuel tank and burner in place

Thanks for looking; hope I gave some ideas :D :D :D

    Al

PS Got motivated from looking at Kerophiles (Georges) Stove Box Photos...Thanks George.
And, Thanks to my Brother - in - Law Dick G.

Hi Al, really smart box....and brother-in-law.
He must be a furniture maker as it looks good enough to be on display, yet it is really functional.
Please pass on my compliments to him.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile

Why does my brother-in-law not think so highly of me as to provide me with such a loverly hand made trinket. I think i need to thump his head again.

Truely a loverly box of a quality which should be on display with a truely loverly stove. I am   with envy.

    hey al
what is going on ? last time we spoke you where going to get a opti 45 sometime in the future (wife worries, to many spends),now you say he's making a box for your 45  are you in denial about your new addiction ? the 1st step toward recovery is to admit your problem not cover it up, even if the cover up is a well tasty new box

 can i get a Mrs like that on ebay ?,one of the reasons i'm not with my girl friend full time is all my "little hobbies" would suffer,
your a lucky bugger a Mrs that buys you stoves a bro in law that makes the cases for them, all you have to do now is find another relative to buy your fuel for you.............don't tell me your related to J R Ewing
    JR_Ewing.jpg

In a little while, I'll find the batteries for my camera, and bring this up to date. My Brother in law has made me 2 more boxes. One for my Svea 106, and one for my old Optimus 45. They came out really nice. I guess if he makes me stove boxes, that moves him up from Brother in Law status, to Associate Stove Brother Status :-k ;) :)

Here are a few more examples. I'm not sure where I got them. I've been saving them for possible reproduction:
