    Hey, Cabriolet,

The answer is "yes"! They made the Solus, which was a brass stove, in both roarer and silent burner types. I have one, and I've seen others owned by other forum members. Nice stoves, and very worth seeking out and buying. Some of their other stoves are multifuel, so you can burn kero, as well as Coleman fuel, etc.. Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

Coleman also made a non pressure kerosene stove. It was made in a 1 burner & 2 burner model. They were sort of like a cabin stove.

Coleman of Canada also made at least one style of kerosene Primus type pressure stove. I have one, it's a very well made stove.

There were Canadian & American (& a British) version of the Solus - available with silent or roarer burners. Check out the relevant Stove Reference sections.

Very interesting. The other one I've seen looked like it was a Monitor. This one looks like a Parasene.

I have edited your post to show the pictures inline rather than links (use the FULL button on the file manager)

I will also place these in the Reference Gallery

Thanks for sorting out the photos. I did try to edit the post but couldnt find the way to do it.....

    Hey it's early days...

    Hey, Guys,

I'm going to try and post a few photos of my own US-made Coleman Solus stove. Let's see if this works.

    Hi Doc,
Good try! I believe another mod is editing it as I type for the pics t appear in the post.

There is a practice forum & gallery at the bottom of the site so you can get the hang of things -no need for the  then!

Another thing to consider - the question has really been answered & this post will soon be long buried & only found by the search facilty. Is this really the best place for your excellent Solus pictures? I'm NOT saying DON'T post them here but how about ALSO putting them in the gallery dedicated to this fine model that regularly generates interest & curiously?

One of my jobs will be reposting pics such as this, as I did with Johns, but then I'm making the post. I do put 'Courtesy of ...' but I think it's better for the owner to make the post & get full credit.

I have recently acquired one like this, only it says Made in Canada. It is missing the central burner from the tank up. Can I get the parts I need somewhere ?
