Any idea on what generators fit the OLD 4M 2 burner suitcase. Is there some universality or do I need to find the particular generator for this model?

Not sure about the 4M but on some (many?) of the Colemans I have seen, the generator number is embossed on the case to the left of the handle. There is an element of similarity as it seems that successive models sometimes used the same generator, but perhaps with a different part number specific to the stove model. It seems to be a bit of a muddle. In fact I am looking for one for my 431 which I'm told is the same or similar to that for the 425. Also check out the suppliers linked at this forum -- on my 'to do' list ;)

Well I have the right link for you
This work was done by a Coleman collector on Old town Coleman forum a guy named Matthew Reid that did a fantastic job both on lanterns and stoves generators.
I am hosting on my site one of the updated copies of the list with permission of the author and it is updated when he has updates(the second copy is on yhaoo Coleman forum) Pressure lantern il Coleman technical page
this is the Coleman technical section from my site - look under "Stoves Generator List"
from the list the part # you need is "412-262"

    Booya!! Thanks!

Mr Reid has obviously done a lot of work. Kudos for him. I understand that the chart is being continually updated.

This *might* narrow down the search, eh?

PS: Doron's find on the generator number relates to the 431 stove (note: AND the 4M referred to by the thread author => thanks, bajabum!)

More suited to BBL than CCS I would say, but indeed Doron's is a nice site.

BBL. British Basketball League? Brown Bag Lunch? Be Back Later?
Sorry, couldn't resist. Just want to check it out, if they'll have me. Tried the search engine here, no luck.
    Thanks,

Be Back Later's site is, of course, in our 'Links' section here.

It is run by our good friend and CCS forum member, Bart.

    Hello, Grigoriy,

Yes, I have three of them, once unused, and have to say that they are very nice stoves. We've used them quite a bit, with both Coleman fuel and kerosene (proper generator installed), and find them neat, efficient, quiet, and reliable. My only dislike for them lies in the cheap, thin, yellow O-rings that Coleman used for the fuel bottles. ALL of them seem to break, and somethings quite quickly. So, I simply replaced them all with good, thick Nitrile ones and that was that. Other than that small problem, no break-downs, no problems, at all. Hope that helps. Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    Thank you Doc

one man told me that he burn more then 60 L of automobile gasoline without generator clogging.
    Its a very good result.
I dealed only with adventure serie with very thin 4mm generator, it is getting clogged easely

Would you be so kind to measure the diameter of the generator on expedition serie
