1987 British Military No.2

    This 1987 Military No.2 is definitely not one for the faint hearted. :shock:

    I stripped and fettled then repainted but I'm still looking for the exact text for the instructions and warning decal for underneath the lid for this model. (Hint Hint) ;)

    Having a 25L drum of panelwipe on my hands I decided to use that instead of petrol. :roll:

    Then

    Till the burner got hot, and I mean HOT the control difference between low simmer and full throttle could be measured in microns. :shock: :shock: :shock: and was really difficult to set.

    Mind you once the burner was heated through it functioned better than expected and moved smoothly from simmer to full blast and back without a flicker. :D Don't know if it will work differently on petrol but that will have to wait till the tankfull of panelwipe is used up.

    Hi I've got an '87 no2. presumably made by CEL it doesn't have the cut out on the front plate like yours though. It seems pretty original so if you want me to take a pic of the internal blurb I'll quite happily sent it to you (not sure how to post pics yet)
