Flivver, aside from my pandering to the humour of the site, if i may say i do believe you trouble with the classics was one of not enough instruction and a lack of a windshield for the burner, rather than a problem with the stove. i too have used a classic in some deplorable weather and i must say with the proper instructions and a good windshield for the stove burner i was never in a position where i had to eat cold food. i do believe the problem you experienced can be directly related to poor instructions and a lack of a windshield for the burner. You will find some good M1950 stoves on ebay or craigslist in your area. get one if you are looking for a stove similar to the M520 you used with so much luck in the past. lance

hahahaha, us kiwis are reasonably honest. Its those bloody Aussies ya gotta watch out for. Never trust anyone who calls a duvet a "duna" I paid thru the nose, both at the shop and at home when my wife found out. At least I was able to warm up the dog house with my new stove. hahaha. Hmmmm, Also, used it in a good breeze, and it didnt need a windshield. Ill test it next in a good stiff south wester and see if it works then
