I know they are all roars but which one is the "quietest" do you think? I have only used the dragonfly and primus varifuel but never together!
I posted elsewhere that Omni is not designed to burn meth, according to an expert at Primus. Ian did this mod on it: https://classiccampstoves.com/posts/55839
yep. Sorry. read it after posting this. I was a bit sad about that actually, as I had thought that omni meant everything. Oh well, everything but meths isnt sooo bad. Problem is with it tho, is now Im actually considering using it more than my svea 123R. Hmmmmmmm... omni dangerous.
Well... if I let out the secret, I grab Omni when I go out with my family, because it is powerful enough for a group cooking. 123 or 8R is good for one, maybe for two when the weather is good. But if it is very windy and cold, I would take one of the quartet, Omni, Nova, Dragonfly, or XGK.
Well I must smother praise apon MSR and ampro. They have replaced my pump with the new model for free! It is nice to see a company stand buy their products and customers. Yay for MSR.
Richard, I'm new to stove land. Who makes the Nova? Also noticed your PS. Are you a canoer or kayaker? John
OPTIMUS NOVA LINKEY Optimus is now a subsidiary of Katadyn... the swiss water filter folks. Also, I may be wrong on this, but i think that's a reference to the film "Deliverance" in that sig of Rik's
