Chin, I think you've got the wrong David - Trevor is referring to this image:-

For some unknown reason, he seems to think that looks like me trying to light the stove...

    Hi David,
Something wrong with this image you uploaded.
I think the site owner had done something to it , otherwise we can not see this page.
    It’s really really strange :-k :-k :-k

I believe he is talking about this small Kia camper van.
It's '434 Diesel' not '4X4 Diesel', which might help explain the confusion.

That makes 49 burners in total, 1 more than we managed at Newark last year & a tie with the American meeting in Western Massachusetts in July 2008. The Swedes didn't make an attempt last year so it's 49 to beat guys.

    The records coming home!

    nine 22&22B = 18
    with one 22B = 2
    and about thirty Optimus 111 = 30

    I make that 50 not 49, don't know what they mean by about 30 :-k .

We'd better make it 51 just to make sure ;)

I have got 14 x 111's to bring to Newark but I have only fired up 2 so I might need some help getting the other 12 going. Is someone taking a NRV spanner with them?

Fettling 111s for the world record won't be a problem, it'll give us something to do during the day.
The evenings however are normally taken up with sitting about, chatting about one armed corn merchants and drinking until the early hours ;)

One 22B after the nine 22&22B's to me means that there was only one burner going on that lone 22B.

I think that 51 is a little low with the amount that have been snapped up by members of late. ;)

IMHO the idea is to beat the record not light as many as possible O:)
