    Evening all

    Now far be it from me to pee on anyone?s eBay auctions but sometimes you can get carried away while tapping and clicking.

    I offer as an example the following, seemingly available now at branches of Singers in the North West of England :

    I seem to recall that similar ( weird ) oval cook sets seem to come up on eBay and go for a lot more . . . . . . .beware the bidding demon ! :twisted:

    There's a mail order and online store caled "Sportsman's Guide" who had these on special a while back. I bought two of these kits from them and paid , as I remember, about $US 9.00 including shipping.

    Awhile back, two -three years, a place called www.Cheaperthandirt.com had them three for $10.00 USD. Then the price went up to three for $15.00 USD, and now they are $9.95 USD each.

    I got mine from eBay for ?9 from a seller in Blackpool - presumably it came from one of those branches of Singers - so the seller lost a quid on the deal.

    (Windsor Davies voice) Oh dear, how sad, not to worry... :lol:

    The other posts would seem to prove my theory that in rip-off Britain we pay the same number of ? as they pay $. :cry:

    These stoves go on ebay for up to ?18, yet while people are bidding ?10+ there is a seller offering them at buy it now ?7.95. People don't look properly I guess :roll:

    Maybe - but are they new or used? The ones Alan pointed out are 'Issued' and therefore, presumably, have been used in the field. Mine is brand spanking new... :D
