I forgot to mention that they have a few other stoves too - mostly gas - but there is an all-in-one fuel stove. Just do a search for stove.
I've bought quite a few things from this site, and while browsing came across this....
Excellent buy! When I first saw the post, I visualised a plastic case, but these are decent ones with proper hinges! .
When I ordered a TK800 from them I offered slightly lower than the Buy Now price, and they just came back with the Buy Now price!! I wasn't too...
Nice jig and tooling. . I assume a reasonable application of heat is also necessary? Like bright red - orange?
Re-the comment about burn spots. A couple of years ago the church youth group wanted to have an evening around a campfire, cooking marshallows...
Well done........but how do you fit a silent cap to it? .
Fair enough, Sparky, but don't forget that many of the big brand name, high-priced items that we buy are made in China these days, regardless of...
Nice work, Gary. Clever method of doming the top, although I would be reluctant to try it after soldering - with my luck I'd pop the soldered...
Excellent! I like that last shot, looks like a nice burner. Who's next? :) .
It could be done, but I'm thinking it would be very fiddly. The bars might also affect the fuel/air flow within the cap if they were too thick....

@Wim, sorry mate, I forgot to reply to your post. Mo'sickle, pushbikes are hard work  . To be more specific, a couple of Triumphs - 2005...
Kerophile, thanks for the excellent lesson. I could visualise exactly what you were describing, and it helps me understand what my burner is...
Thanks. I'll be interested to have it dissected, so to speak, by others with more experience. I have very little idea what I'm doing (not that...
I thought I'd give it a try (curiosity, and all that). Basically I used Gary's midi cap specs, but instead of drilling the holes I cut down on...
This is all good stuff, particularly the photos of existing slotted caps. I made a cut in some brass with a standard hacksaw blade, and although I...
Ahh, the subtle approach. . My guess is that the slots would need to be about 1mm wide, which rules out most cut-off wheels that I've seen....
Very interesting. I've been toying with the idea of a series of horizontal slots cut around the cap, although I have no idea whether it would...
Update. Got home today and there's a small brown envelope left at the back door. Wasn't expecting anything (yet), so rip into it and it's - the...
