In 1935 Primus changed from this rising tube to tank connection to a male connection which the then maker of Primus continued to use until 1962 I illogically think of this as a 00 type connection probably because the 00s used this type of connection for about 80 years. Primus used connection from 1905 on their 230 stove I am expecting Ross to pop up and tell me that the stove is in the wrong box
