Optimus No.80 from late '50s -early '60s

    Hi, here are some photos of another Op.80 I have been fettling recently. The container on this stove was quite badly rusted, but I have now passivated the rust and the stove should be good for the next 50 years:

    Lovely stove and fond memeories of using one in when I was with the Royal Hong Kong Regiment's J Sqn in the early 1970's. I've been trying to hunt one down for the past 10 years or so but not managed to get one although I did recently get a Primus 71 (same thing I am told) that needs soem TLC with a badly rusted case. There was only other one stove that I would settle for instead and that is a US M1950 cooker which was also brilliant. Mine was stolen back in the 80's which really gutted me.
