    1921 was the year that the previous version of the 96 was dropped and this one was introduced with feet around the rim of the tank

    It was also when the tank lid with the metal sealed airscrew was introduced. Some later stoves of this version appear with no lettering on the tank lids but with the identical knurling and shape

    Hi Dave

    I wish I could find the other 1921 Primus 96 that I took into the garage to test and polish. It has completely disappeared despite me being the only person that goes in there and I never leave the door unlocked
