Does anyone own a Turley and Williams British Stove? I think the cover serves also as a table top. Would like more information please. Pictures would be nice. Thanks RON
Hi Ron, basically, it is two N°2 burners in a single case! Bloody heavy but enough power from its roarers to heat-up a massive oven 8) . I posted stove + oven on the forum a while ago. Imho, they are very simple, reliable but no use for backpacking... Regards, Wim
Hey, Ron, I got one a few years ago, but have yet to fire it up. Mine came with a bag of spares, and is in very good condition, me thinks. Here's a shot of it at the most recent CA Stove Gathering, along with a nice Dutch Brother! I like this huge stove, a lot, and really DO need to make time to go through it, then fire it up!! But, then again, I've never fired up my Dutch stove, either, so there you have it!! 8) The T&W is built like a bank vault, and it's so heavy that you might be able to park your truck on top of it, without damaging this huge stove!! As has been said, by Brother Wim, not for backpacking, though!! But, for an oven? Oh, yeah, I think it will do the trick! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc

me too it cost £1.40 but needs new heat proof washers fitting i expect they will be more than the stove cost though but it did come with the spare jets and the tools and prickers unused, i won't say how much the diesel was to pick it up but it did cost more on the way home due to the weight increase there a bit of a brute aren't they i look forward to getting it running sometime although i have no idea why i bought it btw Andy that kettle just looks plain silly on there mate you'll have to get a bigger one

Looks like a massive one and well, am thinking of getting one for like gatherings (definitely not backpacking) still in the process of redoing my list of priorities and shortening it down to 3 and also storage space as I think this one is about 20 inches long. Andy, I loved watching the Swiss dragon stove (army cooker). I had to count the number of pump strokes and I counted over a hundred. Thanks for the links to the videos. BTW, I really liked the 'pot stand' someone used! sam
Andy, looks like a good stove to me added it to the bottom of my list. BTW is the tank brass and painted green or is it made of steel. The guy in the video just pumped it like 5 or 6x and it worked fairly well...blue flames...drool. Ron
