Not a lot needed fettling with this stove, a chrome-bodied Primus No.10. Pump washer, new heatproof washers and NRV 'pip'. Oh, nearly forgot, the pump rod was a really loose fit, in the pump cap (hole worn too large) so I soldered a sleeve in it.

With a fraction larger tank size than a Primus No.5's it's the burner that sets it apart. Here, I've set it alongside a Primus No.4, having the smallest silent burner size, for comparison

It's in pretty good condition for its year, even having some chrome remaining on the stove's legs, but worn through to the brass here and there where it's been most handled, such as around the filler cap area of the tank and on the pump knob

The steel pan ring has the 'Con' marking. Don't know if it's original, but the close association of the British retailer, Condrup, and Primus has been well documented on CCS by Spiritburner, so it quite possibly is

Here's the date letter stamp on the base

Now, back to that burner, which is really what this stove's all about. It's deeply shrouded, and has a distinctive inner cap with a built-in mixture tube

That last pic shows how the Primus-metal outer cap has fared better than the steel inner, in terms of corrosion resistance.

Makes no diffence to the output, which is impressive

I wasn't content just to fire up the stove, but put put it to good use boiling up a pan of crabapple jam. I'll put the link in a 'reply' to follow.
