We went to the same great junk shop where I found the Buflam kero burner last week. I was diligently looking in all the dark corners and there under a table was a rectangular steel box. Uh huh....a Sears and Roebuck KookRite two burner stove with an external pump (still in it's cardboard sleave), the fuel funnel, the wrench, the original instruction sheet and about 70% of it's original paint. It has a cast iron grill, too. I suspect it work just fine once I get the pump cup oiled up. The last patent date is 1927 so it is probably a 1930's stove. It also weighs more than your average Coleman. I would guess 20-25#. It sort of looks like an AGM but there is nothing in the gallary that looks like it. I will get some photos later. Oh, yeah. I paid a whopping $34 for it.
Here are the photos before I have even wiped it down or brushed it out. The fuel tank fits on the right hand side and slopes toward the back like the AGM does.
This must be Sears rebranding the KampKook stoves because this looks very similar to the KampKook #4. Even the instructions look like the KampKook instructions... Nice lightning strike if I ever saw lightning strikes and I've seen them from as far as 50 feet (15 meters) away. sam
Morning, Sparky, Wonderful find, Sir!! You have been on a roll, lately, and this new find is yet another great one! I have one similar to that, but maybe not quite as old. Built like a tank, for sure, as is yours. Thanks for sharing it with us, and also for the instructions. Much appreciated. Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
