I'm just passing on a tip I got when I first came to CCS, a tip I got from BrassNippleKey. (thank you!)

This is the PackaFeather cap which is intended for use with alcohol/meths bottles. Maybe you've already got a good system for getting alcohol into hard to reach places on stoves that need priming, but if not, here's a good one.

If you're interested, I've got more photos and links on my blog: The PackaFeather Cap or you can simply go to PackaFeather.com. Naturally, my photos are better than theirs. ;)

Seriously though, take a look at the last photo on my short blog post, and I think you'll see why I like the cap.

priming stoves is not my problem - it's priming kero pressure lanterns that presents a problem - but i simply use Coleman part:

    201-5511 ALCOHOL BOTTLE $2.50

    (plastic bottle w/hooked brass tube)

I laughed out loud. Thank you again for the original tip.

Just looking at it, you wouldn't think it would be that big of a deal. I mean, OK, sure the little straw allows you to reach things; great.

But the whole set up is so convenient that I use it even when I don't have something hard to reach.
