Primus No.1 date code letter 'A' from 1911. Biggest issue in getting this stove working again was the cast top plate which was in 4 pieces. I've welded it back together by pre-heating with old blow torch on firebrick bed, then using MIG with stainless steel wire and Argon gas shield. In combination and done properly this should reduce danger of ineffective and brittle joints. So far it seems to be surviving:
