The 21F is the nickel plated version of No:21.

This stove is in addition equipped with Radius' special silent burner, a combination not shown in any of the Radius catalogues published on this site so far.
I do not know if the stove left the radius factory like this or if the burner is a replacement. Is there anybody that can enlighten me?

As on many other nickel plated stoves the plating has seen better days.

    Hi Arne

The nickel plating might have seen better days, but it is still VERY nice! :D

    Arne,

In your first photo the top of the burner head looks very close to the top of the pot stands,  so your doubt about the originality of the burner could be well founded.

Very nice stove though, particularly that rare burner design.

    Hello,
The burner style has captured my interest as well. I have seen the type in catalogs available here on CCS, but not a photo of the actual components.

The component design is very interesting. I would enjoy seeing a photo showing a bottom view of the cap assembly to review the full component structure of the design.

Hey Gary check it out ! Less holes to drill. :D

    Regards,
    Doug

    Hi Doug,

    Here you go.
It is not a Radius cap, but a never used Høvik Cap. Radius and Høvik made identical burners. At least I'm not able to see any major differences on the caps. The caps can be interchanged without noticeable effect on the flame.

    Very nice stove Arne!

And, thanks for the closeups of the cap. I really love these burners.

The oval shaped holes lead me to wonder if the holes were drilled first and then the brass stamped into shape? That might account for their distortion from round I'm guessing? :-k (Either that or they used one of those oval drill bits.)

Here's the count. Five rows of holes. 30 holes in each of the three top rows, 15 each in the two bottom rows. Total 120 holes.

    Cheers,
    Gary
