Aluminium “bucket” windscreen

An aluminium windscreen with lid and carrying handle, intended to be used with ordinary two-pint, three-legged, stoves. As there are no markings on this bucket shaped windscreen I can’t tell where or when it was made. But, for what it’s worth, it was found in Sweden and with a 1942 Primus No 335 inside.

There was a similar one on ebay last week. Was on fold up legs, with a door. Was an original Primus item but can't remember the model number - deleted it out of my watched items list in digust when I lost out on yet another auction!

 

You're thinking of the 1154 - there is one here.

I just added the one you mention to my collection - much less common than the 1153 legless version.

Yes that’s my ”bucket” (surrounded by some of my stoves) on Magnus photos from Primusträffen 2007. And yes, it’s a neat kit I all it’s simplicity!

Well it doesn't close. It's a very basic construction, just the bucket with it's window and a lid.
