Hi. This is my Aymaró 96, an exact replica of Primus 96.

 

Hi @Juan. Interesting. Have you tried firing it up?
The flame spreader looks like it has been deliberately bent inward. Is this to improve combustion?

No, I just received it yesterday and I still couldn't try. Anyway, the flame spreader was not modify, it seems to be original without marks or dents, perfectly symmetrical and there is a spare within the box which is identical.

I traded it by a non working Mauser C96 pistol I didn't want to keep at home.

You made an interesting deal. Didn't you try to repair the Mauser?

 

No, I didn't. It was always hidden because no one wanted to see it at home. I know their value could be much higher than a stove but my friend was so happy as I'm with the deal.
