    Hi

I was lucky to find a nice Edelweiss cookset (large version).
I notice that the windshield has been modified. It should be bulging in the other direction and not cut out. How to remodell aluminum in the right direction? Thank you.

Nice unusual Swiss set. More user cooking options than '71L' set.
Rubber mallet and round wooded log similar diameter would be idea. Maybe you have heavy metal pot in kitchen to beat on? What you have looks like it will work fine.

@Daryl Thank you. Yes it works nicely like that sure. The stove for this cookset is the Primus 71 short tank but why not using the Primus 71 with the larger tank ? The flame would be higher. I find that with the short tank the flame is too far from the bottom of the pan.

To bend it smooth may be tough . Perhaps pressing it down onto a ball of some sort , soccer , bowling ,even the radius of a tire . The aluminum is pretty soft even after being worked . Good Luck

Looks like the Keyhole was cut to allow for a stove with a taller regulator. Optimus 80, Primus 71?
