Handi Works Pty Limited produced stoves between 1932 and 1972 but did not date stamp their Stoves so actual date of manufacture is not known. Something a little different and I can’t find any reference to “CT” The tank is stamped HANDI QUICK BOIL with the HANDI logo (H inside a shield) and CT stamped either side of the shield. The stamping appears to be original. The tank filler cap has raised lettering with BRISBANE on one side and HANDI on the other and a raised border around the finger grip. But the size is much larger than any other filler cap I have seen and there is a raised rim around the circumference, which I have not seen on any other Handi filler cap. (see attached photo) The feet are also very well defined. All the other features are standard. The spirit cup is brass with no markings The pressure bleed is cast with no markings The burner has HANDI cast in the top (raised letters) and 8 V stamped in the base. The leather pump cup assembly is a riveted construction. The assembly is not fixed and slides on the shaft allowing air entry on the up stroke. It is held on the shaft by a brass nut. The NRV is standard. The flame ring is brass with no markings. The spigot and filler spout had previously been heavily resolded but were loose and leaking so it had to be cleaned up and resoldered. Howdy, Martin @ROBBO55 , There is just something great about Handi QB stoves! I'm going to have to dig out my own, and check to see if the markings on the tank are like yours. Very nice stoves, in any case. I am very happy to have been able to score a few Handi stoves before Albert called it quits, and sold his company. He's a great Gent, all around! Yes, the stoves are well made. @Tony Press @JP2 Thanks, the stove was very dirty when I got it, wasn't until I cleaned it that I found the CT. Hopefully more will turn up. Or better still, someone knows details about CT.

Good Morning, All, I checked my own Handi Quick Boil, and though I bought it from Albert, mine does not have the "CT" marking. I need to clean this stove up a bit more, as it holds pressure very well, and will probably fire up, just the way it is! Albert and I did a four-way trade, many long years ago. He wanted some smaller Swedish, and Austrian stoves, as I recall, and he sent me this Handi Quick Boil; two SVEA Companion stoves (one silent burner, and one roarer burner); and a pre 1911 Primus #1. I've also got some original Handi instructions for the stove, and some spare leathers, and pips, which Albert very kindly included in the package he sent. I need to give him a shout, and see if he can explain the "CT" markings, as well as to see how he's doing. Last we spoke, he had endured some flooding in his area, and he sent some photos along of that happenstance. Great buy, Albert, and I'm certainly not alone in missing his presence here at CCS!!
