How do I get rid of all this brown on the brass?

    I'm thinking of a sanding wheel or a steel wire brush....borax maybe???
    Hahahahahaha.... No don't worry... I'm leaving this one alone....

    I'll post more soon but going to fettle this one with my dad as he wants to see how I do this. I'm leaving the platina exactly as I found it.

    I would leave it “as-is” once you polish them I feel like they lost their soul.

    @Pancho yeah this one is just staying like it is other than NRV, pump cup, tank gasket and burner gasket.... It looks like chocolate... Very nice patina

    I bought a 1200 from a fellow collector over CCF and was in this shape when I got it. The collar was pushed down due to maybe a fall and was removed with ice. The finished patina was made by me
