Totally unknown make, only the name is engraved on it. No "Made in..." nor anything else. I may be wrong, but I think this is a kind of 'prototype' made by a company making blow lamps. They did not succeed.... I had to make a flame spreader, in fact I made 3 to experiment. Other than the size, I also played with the position (slightly 'in' the burner bell, level, and slightly raised.). The best result is what you see in the flame shots. When you look closely, you'll see the flame pattern is flat on one side and goes up the opposite side. This is caused I believe by the hole where the nipple screws in being drilled off center. The nipple aperture also was far to large, thanks to John @presscall who did his magic with a hypodermic needle this is now about the same size as a Primus N°96. The riser tube was empty, so I filled it with (at the top) some fine brass mesh (about as much as used in a lipstick burner) and at the bottom some fine stainless steel mesh. The legs are also home made, I cut the material out of a piece of square tubing. It is a bit to thin, but the other choice was to heavy. I did a boil test, the kettle was filled with 1.5liter cold water. It took about 25mins to get a rolling boil. It is possible to get a stronger flame by upping the pressure but then after a short while one gets fire balls (that means the system does not get hot enough to properly vapourise the fuel). It is possible to get a nice simmering flame, but not for long... this burner wants to run full speed! The last photo shows some slight bubbling at the filler/pump. No problem, this will be a "display only" stove I think. Sort of a "conversation piece" so to speak. Pre heating, the tray contains a bit more than a standard N°5 stove (and needs it....) Size wise it is about the same as a N°5 Wiv ze kettle on. Note at right the flame shoots out, not really visible at left it shoots (almost straight) up. The drops at the kettle's bottom is mainly condensate, but at the bottom of the spout there's a small leak (rust). On the left, the first prototype flame spreader in copper, on the right a smaller one in brass. This caused fireballs. We have a boil rolling on...... Bubbles..... Hope you enjoyed, Wim

Hi John, @presscall it is not really fully satisfying, as the stove is not performing like it should. But then, it probably is better then it ever was, and will never be perfect! Like I mentioned this is more a conversation piece than a user stove, so I'll bring it with me to Newark to converse, not cook! All the best, Wim
@goldwinger11 , I tried a small empty can for a windscreen (in fact this burner is very wind sensitive, even walking past it indoors affected the flame) but that didn't change much. To bad, as it is otherwise a rather elegant stove! Best regards, Wim
Hi all I don't know if this is the same brand but I found a table lamp which claims this name Maximum table lamp It have been find in Spain and was producted in Barcelona We don't know by whom and where No other stamping than "Maximum lux" on the fount this Maximum is the same as Conny's Acteom lamp "Acteom" table lamp Spain but we no longer have any information except that Acteom must be a brand of heating and lighting equipment because we found a small leaflet about a bath heater of the same brand
