Optimus 111T Filler Cap question

    My new-to-me Optimus 111T "International" stove leaks at the filller cap. Previous owner left a bag of parts including a washer which would fit the cap. 1- is that washer satisfactory or is it perhaps too old. 2 - the pressure-release: is that a tiny washer or an O-ring; Im sure it should be replaced as well.. Thanks! Tom

    If the washer still has flexibility and shows no sign of perishing it should be fine. A hard washer is not.

    After fitting the cap washer, test the cap by pressurising the tank and holding it under water to see if the safety release valve is working. If it is, leave it as is.
